On this visa you are to enter Australia and marry your fiancé within 9 months of the visa being granted. Once you have married your fiancé, then you can apply for an Onshore Partner Visa (subclass 820) on the basis of your marriage before the subclass 300 visa expires.
You will be entitled to full work rights for the duration of the fiancé visa
Eligibility:
- You must be engaged to an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen.
- You must provide evidence that you have met and known your prospective spouse personally
- be at least 18 years of age
